Louis Vense to our ... [more illegible words, one may be 'impediment' - perhaps this is assurance from another priest that there is no impediment to the marriage]... was made ... ordinance [order?] ... priest licentiate [that is, he holds a university degree] of the Sorbonne ... certified to me ... of marriage ... given the nuptial blessing ... Pierre Benoist, François Bertrand, Juvenal[?] Martin brother, Jean Brouillon brother-in-law, [another illegible name], Jean [illegible], Charles [illegible] the godfather of the [? does not seem to be 'bride' or 'groom'] husband of ... Pierre Baudoin his uncle, Jean [?] his brother-in-law, Jean ['Chantoifeau'?] godfather of... declared... signed..." Signatures: Paul Martin, Benoist Bertrand, and several others.
