The eleventh of October 1852, after three publications of the marriage banns, made at our [unclear] parish, Maxime Martin day laborer majeur [i.e., not a minor] in this parish, son of Joseph Martin farmer and of the late Marguérite Parento [sic] of the parish of Saint Aimé on the one hand; and Louise Boucher majeure daughter of Marcel Boucher and Louise Roy of this parish on the other hand; no impediment having been found to the said marriage; we [unclear] undersigned their mutual commitment [unclear] nuptial blessing in the presence of [first name smudged] Lefebvre, [illegible name], the spouse of Marcel Boucher, brother of Marcel Boucher; brother of the wife; [they] do not know how to sign.
