Alfred MacDougall served in the military during World War II. He died on 13 June 1943 after being shot down over The Bay of Biscay by U-564, the sub his plane was attacking. There were no survivors from the plane, DV967. The sub was badly damaged and sunk the next day by an English Whitley. He is remebered at Runnymede on Panel 174.
