  Notes	Elam and Ruth Baldwin Bailey lived near Akron, Summit County, Ohio. Their son, Samuel, was apparently a wealthy man and ran a flour mill in Kent, Ohio. Their son, Griffith, lived in Cleveland and worked for one of the newspapers. The Weekly Beacon (Akron, Ohio) of 28 August 1878 reported that Ruth had returned from a five-week visit with friends at Zanesville. According to the 1900 census, she was born in May 1815, but her death record (1901) states that she was 82. The date given here (12 May 1820) is based on the fact that Ruth and Nancy Baldwin were twins, and Nancy's stated age on her tombstone indicates the 12 May 1820 birthdate.
