  Notes	From David Talley: Some of the files that I have come across list Elizabeth as Elizabeth Hensley. Robert Talley, a grandson of Elizabeth and Prior, wrote the following in his application to the Eastern Cherokee Nation: "My father's mother was Elizabeth Henson. She was a full blooded Cherokee. She married Prior Talley. She was born and raised in Yancey Co., NC." You will find both Henson's and Hensley's on the Cherokee rolls. However, since Robert Talley lived near his grandparents in Lumpkin Co. Ga, he should have known that her maiden name was Henson.
