  Notes	The obituary of Isaac Satcher appeared in the Alexandria (Louisiana) Daily Town Talk, Monday, 30 January 1939: At the family residence, Route 1, LeCompte, La., Saturday, January 28, 1939, at 4:10 P.M. Isaac N. Satcher, 91. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Isaac N. Satcher; five sons, Oliver, Barrey (Barney), Henry R., and Dave Satcher all of LeCompte; four daughters, Mrs. Lula Barcegay of LeCompte, Mrs. Laura Tyler of Alexandria, Mrs. Clara Gipson (Gibson) of Ruby and Mrs. Pauline Brooks (Brent) of Winnsboro. There are also 43 grandchildren and a large number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the family residence Monday at 10:00 A.M. Interment was made in the French Cemetery near LeCompte under the direction of Hixon Brothers.
