Next door to her in 1891 was the family of Alexander Will, blacksmith, born 1864 in Kilspindie. This Alexander Will was the great-nephew of Janet Will, wife of Robert Duff.

In their marriage record, John Duff's and Euphemia Ireland's residences were given as Kilspindie. At the time of the 1841 and 1861 censuses, they were living in the village of Rait, Kilspindie. At the time of the 1881 census, John Duff was living at Rait Cottage, Kilspindie, Perthshire, Scotland. Living with him was Maggie Thom (age 20), probably his niece.

John married Euphemia Ireland on 12 Dec 1828 in Kilspindie, Perthshire, Scotland. Euphemia (daughter of John Ireland and Isabella Stewart) was born in cir 1800; died on 15 Sep 1872 in Kilspindie, Perthshire, Scotland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
