The baptismal record of his daughter Helen in Collace states that James' residence was Bowhouse in the parish of Kilspindie. The baptismal records of his other children give his residence as Kinrosssie, in Collace. James Will lived at Thorngreen, in the parish of Collace, Perthshire, Scotland.
