At the time of the 1920 Census, the family was living at 1245 Warder Street, Springfield, Ohio. John Garrett and Hannah Lewis Magruder both died at the home of John's daughter, Della Magruder Pettit, at 1107 Kenton Street, Springfield, Ohio, within two days of each other. John Garrett Magruder was a helper at Robbins and Myers Company in Springfield, Ohio.
