Notes |
- Robert and Ann Dewar Duff were married at Ann's home, 8 New Row, Perth. The marriage was performed after Banns according "to the forms of the Free Church." Robert's place of residence was given as Butters Land, Camperdown Street, Lochee. Robert's occupation was given as Labourer, and Ann's as Domestic Servant. Witnesses were David Duff and Isabelle Dewar, presumably Ann's sister. At the time of the 1881 census, the Robert Duff family was living 33 Newrow, Perth, Scotland. In 1891, they were living at 146 Barossa (?) Street, St. Andrew's Parish, Perth. On his death certificate, Robert's occupation was given as "Calender Worker."
