Thomas Bryan, Jr. Note on back by Clarence Ray Bryan, Jr.: "Thos. Bryan (Jr) tombstone, photo Oct 1981. Bryan Cemetery on Alabama Road 7 miles Southeast of LaFayette, Ga. I don't know when this cemetery was established but probably about 1878. Also in this cemetery are graves of Thos. Pinkney Bryan and Josephine Bryan Williams, Leander Crook Bryan and his wife Emma Sims Bryan. The metal marker honoring service in the War of 1812 was installed about 1950 & Dad was present as the last surviving grand child. The marker was lying on the ground and I placed it where it could be photographed with the tombstone. Thomasin Grogan Bryan buried adjacent in 1910." |
