- This may be the Jesse Romine who purchased land from Daniel Romine in Ross County, Ohio, on 16 December 1856 (Section 14, Range 20, Harrison Township). He then sold the land to Isaac Walters on 15 May 1857. In the 1857 transaction, he is identified as Jesse Romine, Jr., and both Jesse and Isaac were "of Muskingum County".
