  Notes	William and Mary Romine Francis reportedly moved to Ohio in 1816. William Francis is said to have been present at the surrender of General Cornwallis at Yorktown on 28 September 1781. He served as a private under Captain John McGuire in Grayson's Virginia Regiment. [2] William and Mary Romine Francis are said to have had 24 children, including four sets of twins, with 16 of their children living to adulthood. [2]
