  Notes	Obituary from The Franklin Press, Macon County, North Carolina (6 May 1942): Andrew Matt Bryson, 87, wellknown farmer of the Cullasaja section died Saturday evening at 7 o'clock in the Baptist Hospital at Winston-Salem. Death was caused by pneumonia. He had been ill one month. A native of Macon county, Mr. Bryson was married to Miss Amanda Crisp, who died a number of years ago. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist church where funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Frank Holland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Surviving are two sons, Frank H. and Fred R. of Cullasaja and an number of grandchildren.
