  Notes	William Dension came to America on the Lion in 1631 with his wife and three youngest sons, and settled in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He was a merchant, and must have been a man of means and good education. He was admitted to Roxbury church as member #3 in 1632 and later served as a deacon in the First Church of Roxbury. He was admitted as Freeman on 3 July 1632. He also served as Roxbury Constable, 4 March 1633/34; Deputy to the General Court from Roxbury, 4 March 1634/35; on the committee to inspect ships, 4 March 1634/35.
