- Aaron Burson and his wife, Hester, née Burson, were Quakers and 1st cousins. Aaron was reported as guilty of "fornication with her who is now his wife" and "marriage contrary to discipline". He was disowned at the Goose Creek Monthly Meeting in 1799 (Loudoun County, Virginia), and he was dismissed from the South Fork Preparatory Meeting on 24 June 1799 for marrying his first cousin. He was born into the Fairfax Monthly Meeting. [1]
