Note on translation: "today the 27th of [month obscured by the seal, probably Feb.) 1726 after the publication of banns without any opposition which came to our knowledge, without obstacle. with [smudge, probable support of witness] of two others and Monsieur the Archbishop according to Monsieur [Theuviet?] the vicar-general sent the 25th of February [then the number 125] I, the undersigned certified... minister ... sacrament of marriage of Monsieur Etienne Bertrand counsellor of the king in the baillage [bailiwick or district] of Nemours, and Mademoiselle Germaine Lenoir, daughter of [Regnier?] doctor of medicine, in the presence of Monsieur Thibault counsellor of the king and of his procureur of the eslection of Nemours, his nephew on his wife's side, and of Pierre Martin master locksmith witness of the [case? cause?] of the bride, and of Monsieur Jean Francois [Debonnaire?] counsellor of the king and controller of the [grenier? means 'attic' or 'loft'] of the salt tax, and Charles Boileau [or Boiseau], coroner, witness for the bride, who have signed" - then signatures; Pierre just signs "Martin." He must have been related to the bride or at least knew her well.
