Notes |
- From a relative of Lutrelle Rogers Wilson: "According to my mother-in-law, Lutrelle Rogers Wilson and her daughter, Lutrelle Lila Wilson, went to live with Auntie Sara (Ann Judson Rogers) Conway, the sister of Harvey Rogers, and her husband, Edwin Conway in Oak Park, IL. The Conways were quite wealthy and young Lutrelle adored them. Edwin Conway was a father figure to young Lutrelle. Lutrelle studied the piano while living with the Conways. This makes sense given that Edwin was the president of the W. W. Kimball Piano company. At one point she wanted to be a concert pianist." [1]
