Notes |
- Mahlon Baldwin witnessed the will of Thomas Brown, his future wife's uncle, on 23 April 1794. On 6 October 1802, Mahlon Baldwin purchased 90 acres of land from Burr and Catherine Powell. The land lay along the road leading from Middleburg to Colston's Mill. On 10 September 1804, Mahlon Baldwin purchased 64 acres from John and Hannah Inden. This land was on the east side of Goose Creek, apparently close to his previously purchased tract. On 18 July 1822, Mahlon Baldwin purchased one acre in the town of Union from his wife's parents. On 26 January 1824, he purchased another lot in Union from John and Harriet Keene.
