    • Samuel L. Baldwin served in Company E, 63rd Indiana Infantry, during the Civil War. He enlisted on 11 August 1862 in Covington, Indiana, and was discharged on 21 June 1865 in Greensboro, North Carolina. In his later years, he lived in the Danville, Indiana, National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers.
