- The William Grigsby family was living in Cass County, Indiana, in 1864, when William and Agnes signed affidavits in support of the application of Mary Baldwin for a Civil War widow's pension. Mary Baldwin was the widow of their cousin, Samuel H. Baldwin. At the time of the 1850 Census, William and Agnes Grigsby were living in Shenango Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
