  Notes	George and Mercy Brown were from Leicestershire, England, and arrived in America in 1679, landing at New Castle in what is now Delaware. They settled on the Delaware near Biles Island, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. They may have had as many as fifteen children, eight of whom survived to adulthood. George was the first English Justice commissioned in Bucks County, in 1680.
