1134 | Westport Petit Session Records This record shows Francis Nolen, a resident of Buckwaria, as the defendant in a Petit Court Session, being tried for "eloping from his Master on the 12th Sept. 1841." "Eloping" was the term used when someone left without permission or notification, indicating that Francis Nolen was a tenant of the plaintiff, Dominick Gerraghty. There are other connections between the Nolan and Gerraghty families, so this very well may be the Francis Nolan who married Catherine Nolan. | |||
