  Notes	John R. Willhoit was an early settler and storekeeper in Ozark County, Missouri. He received 160 acres in Ozark County on 9 July 1901 through the 1862 Homestead Act.. The town of Willhoit, Missouri, was named for him. He was the postmaster from 1910 until 1916. He later moved to Gainesville, Missouri, where he served as Ozark County Probate Court judge for a number of years. He and his family were living in Marion Township, Ozark County, Missouri, at the the time of the 1900 federal census.
